Step 1 Greeting & Warming-up

Now， look at the picture. Kate and Mary are going to he an English party this morning. They are Mary’s. Kate’s balloons and dolls are here. They bring a lot of things. （出示导学指要）
Step 2 Presentation
1.Look， Kate brings her some candles. Lisa says “Here is a candle for you.” “Here is also a doll for you.”
引出第一个单词doll ，学习这个词。
2.Peter brings a basket. Guess what’s in it？ （给学生想象的空间）
Look what’s in it？ Oh， so big. 引出第二个单词drum，并学习这个词。
3.同上方法引出另外三个单词puppet， paper chain， balloon， 并明确它们的复数形式puppets， paper chains， balloons.
4.同上方法引出单词puppet→ these puppets →Here are these puppets for you. →Here are some … for you. 利用刚学的复数形式进行造句。
Are these Kate’s dolls？ Yes， it is .No， they aren’t.

5.填空练习 is / are。

（1） ________ this Peter’s pizza？
（2）Whose spoon________this ？
（3） ________ these Kate’s drums？
（4）Whose balloons________these？
6.Kate is happy.We are going to he an English party this morning. Now， let’s play game. Guess！ “Whose balloons are these？ They’re Kate’s.”
学习这两个句型，并拓展第一个句子Whose balloons are these？ They’re Kate’s可做替换练习。
