试述目论论林语堂版《浮生六记》中文化负载词英译

摘要：随着对中国文化感兴趣的外国人的数量的快速增加,翻译在文化传播方面发挥着越来越重要的作用。而文化负载词是一个国家独特文化的直接反映。由此,如何翻译中国文学作品中的文化负载词成为一个重要的课题。到目前为止,许多国内外的学者就文化负载词的翻译对策与策略已经给予很多令人关注的见解。然而,很少有人以目的论方面探讨文化负载词的翻译。目的论是在20世纪70年代由汉斯·费米尔提出,在20世纪80年代引入中国。目的论认为决定任何翻译历程的最主要的原则是通篇翻译的目的。本论文将以目的论方面入手,探讨林语堂英译版的《浮生六记》中的汉语文化负载词的翻译对策与策略,希望能够验证、说明一些有帮助,有价值的并能广泛利用的文化负载词的翻译对策与策略。本论文采取描述法与归纳法来进行探讨。为了能够找到一条适用于中国译者把汉语文化负载词翻译成英文的原则并解释翻译文化负载词的对策,本论文将以目的论的三条原则为指导,通过比较原文与译文的策略来探讨文化负载词的翻译。通过比较可以得出林语堂为了实现传播中国文化的目的,他灵活利用音译,直译,义译,注释和替代法处理不同类型的文化负载词。通过一系列的探讨,本论文得出如下结论：在目的论的指导下,林语堂实现了通过翻译把中国文化传播给读者的目的,与此同时本论文证明了目的论有实践性的指导功能。关键词：林语堂论文《浮生六记》论文文化负载词论文目的论论文翻译法论文
