摘要:美国人类语言学家帕尔默将认知语言学与人类语言学三大传统分支即博厄斯派语言学、民族语义学,及话语民族学相结合,通过吸纳、修正与重组,构建了一种对各种语言现象更有解释力的一种新兴合成论述,文化语言学论述。帕尔默认为语言、文化和意象相互联系,并将意象作为其文化语言学论述的核心概念,由此在某种程度上,帕尔默文化语言学应该能够为旨在推动不同文化交流的跨文化交际活动—翻译提供论述支持。汉语典籍《菜根谭》成书于明代万历年间,是一部语录体清言集。该书融会贯通儒道释等多家意旨,结合自身生活经历,表达了作者对为人处事,修身养性等方面的独到见解。近年来,随着汉语典籍在国际文化交流中的传播,《菜根谭》日益受到各国人们的青睐,各种译本也相继出现。本论文以帕尔默文化语言学及其核心论述意象定义和原则为基本论述框架,讨论了《菜根谭》英译本中意象再造的不足。探讨发现,帕尔默文化语言学论述关于意象的四个原则即知觉对等原则、空间对等原则、转换对等原则、和结构对等原则对汉语典籍英译具有很强的解释力。探讨还表明,在意象传递的历程中,对于中西方文化有的文化意象,译者更倾向于保留其原有形式,而对于那些中国传统文化中特有的文化意象,译者则采取了变形,加注,意译等翻译对策。总之,本论文试图以帕尔默文化语言学的视角探究如何采取有效的策略更准确地传达汉语文化典籍中的丰富意象,以期对汉语典籍的英译有所裨益,以而更好地推动中国传统文化的对外传播。关键词:帕尔默文化语言学论文汉语典籍英译论文意象再造论文本论文由www.7ctime.com,需要论文可以联系人员哦。摘要4-6
