探讨“杂合”论述视阈下《湘西散记》英译本-

摘要：杂合这一术语最早来自现代生物学，随后普遍运用于自然科学和社会科学等诸多领域。杂合现象所具有的独特优势，引起了许多学者的关注。该术语也被运用于后殖民翻译论述中，引起了翻译界学者的广泛探讨。通过对翻译中杂合现象的探讨，中西方学者普遍认为译文的杂合是不同种语言和文化相互交流、交融产生的，几乎全部的译文都是杂合的。杂合不仅为长期的归化和异化争论提供了新的视角，而且有助于抵制西方文化霸权、推动文化间的平等交流。本论文通过对《湘西散记》杨宪益和戴乃迭英译本的浅析，探讨了译本中语言、文化、文学三个方面的杂合现象，发现译者在翻译的历程中采取了归化和异化两种翻译对策，使译文出现以异化为主的杂合特点。译者异化对策的选择，保留了中国地方文化特点，给英语读者提供了观赏异域风情的机会。归化对策的选择，有效保证了译文的可读性。本论文还讨论了《湘西散记》译本的杂合性对文学翻译批评标准探讨所具有的启迪作用。在翻译中，以异化为主的杂合，有益于保留源语的语言文化，抵制文化霸权和民族中心主义，推动不同文化的平等交流和进展。同时，有关译本杂合性的探讨，对于文学翻译，特别是中文译成外文，具有较大的启迪作用。尽管杂合在翻译中具有各种各样的优势，但译文只有保持适度的杂合才能更有效地传播中国文化。关键词：杂合论文异化论文归化论文《湘西散记》论文
