摘要：《红楼梦》作为中国四大古典文学名著之一，是一部探讨中国文化、历史、文学、艺术的经典作品，处处体现着中华民族的语言文化特点。作为文学经典，这部著作已在异国文化里广为流传，到现在已有十几种语言文字的译本。而迄今最完整且被译界广泛推崇的是两个全译本：中国著名翻译家杨宪益及夫人戴乃迭翻译的（以下简称杨译）A Dream of Red Mansions，以及英国牛津大学著名汉学家大卫·霍克斯（Did Hawkes）和约翰·闵福德（John Minford）翻译（以下简称霍译）的The Story of the Stone。对《红楼梦》其英译本的探讨自以二十世纪七十年代以来便引起越来越多的国内外学者的关注。对《红楼梦》英译本的探讨，比较和评析居多，但深入全面地探讨影响两个译本不同的因素，尤其以跨文化交际的角度以及文化翻译的角度进行探讨还比较少，尚处在进展阶段。本论文借鉴前人对两个全译本探讨的成果，以《红楼梦》原著及杨、霍两个全译本为蓝本，以跨文化交际及文化翻译的角度，选取两个译本中具有文化内容翻译代表性的例子，对两个全译本进行探讨性的比较探讨，浅析其译作者不尽相同的体现手法，比较和浅析影响两个译本产生不同的因素。全文包括五部分。第一部分首先说明本论文的重要量，然后简单介绍了《红楼梦》、作者曹雪芹及其英译本。第二部分是文献综述，介绍本论文的论述支持和《红楼梦》英译本的国内外探讨近况。第三部分以译者、译者的翻译思想及译者的翻译策略三个方面，对两个译本进行比较。第四部分以服饰、饮食、宗教和诗学四个方面具体探讨两个译本关于文化内容的翻译对策，浅析了两位译者的翻译思想等。最后为结论部分，对全文的比较探讨进行总结和概括。本论文旨在探讨跨文化交际意识及文化翻译对文学作品翻译的影响，以期对中外文化的交流产生积极作用。关键词：《红楼梦》论文英译论文跨文化交际论文文化翻译论文比较探讨论文
