摘要：数字是表示数量的词汇或符号。很久以来,数字翻译只是用译文中的对应数字替代原文中的数字。然而,数字不仅包含指示确切数量、程度、范围、时间和空间等的精确数字,也包括表示隐含作用的模糊数字。在语言学中,数字有时起到比喻、夸张等的修辞作用,承载大量的文化信息、表示丰富的外延和内涵作用、表达情感以及展现语言的体现力。数字可根据功能大致分为三类。同时,作者探讨了数字模糊性的理由。在汉语古典诗歌中的数字经常具有模糊性,作为一种修辞手法制造艺术美感,这也给其翻译带来了一定难度。在模糊论述和翻译对等论述的指导下,作者运用大量例证证明模糊对等在汉语古典诗歌中模糊数字英译的可行性。最后,在翻译三原则的基础上,作者提出三种翻译对策来实现这种模糊对等。具体来讲,本探讨的结论如下：首先,汉语古典诗歌中的大多数数字都具有模糊性。李白、杜甫等诗人经常利用模糊数字来起到修辞作用、产生美学价值以及表达强烈情感等。第二,汉语古典诗歌中的数字大致可分为三类：单一的数字、连用的数字以及对仗句式中的数字。造成数字模糊性的理由主要有数字语义的模糊性、数字的连用、固定的数字结构、诗歌中的语言对冲和数字的文化含义等。第三,在构词、语用作用和文化内涵等方面,英汉数字均有很大的差别。由此大多数情况下,汉语古典诗歌中的数字翻译很难实现绝对的、完全的对等。第四,作者借鉴模糊论述和翻译对等论述,以一些包含模糊数字的汉语古典诗歌的英文译本为例,阐述了其模糊对等的可行性。第五,为保障模糊数字的译文具有可读性且能被广泛接受,我们需要在翻译历程中遵循以下三条翻译原则：保持原意、可读性和形象性的原则。最后,在模糊论述、翻译对等论述以及翻译三原则的指导下,作者提出了以下三种翻译对策：用精确翻译精确、用模糊翻译模糊以及用精确翻译模糊。关键词：模糊数字论文汉语古典诗歌论文模糊性论文模糊对等论文翻译对策论文
