摘要：现代文化探讨中，城市是一片文化集群，而都市则就是一个聚集点。全球化背景下的都市文化比较探讨是一种加强都市文化探讨深度和地位的重要方式。它有利于推动不同区域间的文化交流，加强都市、国家以及世界文化的进展。与此同时，基于对有关文化论述和策略的继承，我们有必要通过扩大视野和革新的方式将都市文化比较探讨提升到一个新的层次。上海和纽约均为中美两国中心大城市，也是具有重要影响的国际化大都市。尽管社会和自然环境不同，两城以某种作用上说均具有共同的进展轨迹。新世纪之初，上海成功获得世主办权，并由此开始加大力度进一步提升其文化形象。而纽约却遭受到了911恐怖袭击的重创，文化上经历了阵痛式的进展。由此，探讨新世纪之后两地在文化结构进展上的异同具有一定的价值和作用。本论文基于莱斯利怀特的文化论述，首先展示了文化结构的基本概念、构成及其进展。接着，将文化结构三要素居民、地点及活动做了具体的浅析。然后，本论文对于文化结构的五种基本形式文学、音乐、美术、舞蹈和电影进行了简单的比较探讨。同时，试探性地讨论了为新世纪所推崇的创意文化在两地的进展。以上内容通过类比和比较的策略,对两都市的文化结构进行了深入浅出的比较探讨。本论文有助于理解文化结构的概念以及其系统分支，同时，对于探讨两地21世纪以来在文化进展上的优劣得失有一定作用。与此同时，本论文试图寻找纽约作为世界文化中心的相关理由，对上海在文化进展历程中如何抓住机遇迎头赶上进行了探讨。关键词：上海论文纽约论文文化结构论文21世纪论文
