摘要:《文心雕龙》是中国第一部高度系统化的文学批评论著。其探讨已经进展成为一门专门的学科——龙学。它是中西文化交流的重要桥梁之一。其英译本一直是翻译学者探讨古籍翻译的对象。在众多的英译本中,宇文所安和杨国斌的英译本是受到学者普遍认可又各具特点的译本。而译者巨大的身份差别——前者是美国著名汉学家,后者是中国知名学者,对《文心雕龙》这部古籍文论的英译产生了重大影响。宇文所安的译本是西方译者中的代表,而杨国斌的译本吸取了中国译者的精华而成为中国译者翻译《文心雕龙》的典范。他们在翻译历程中的读者、作者、创造者和文化传播者的身份都有其自身的特点。由此,以译者身份的角度对这两个具有代表性的译本进行比较具有较高的探讨价值。这也是论文的革新点。译者作为翻译主体,在翻译历程中具有的不同身份:读者、作者、创造者和文化传播者。每一个身份的定位都会对翻译产生不同作用的影响。译者作为原文本的读者,他既具有一般读者的属性,同时也有自身的特殊性。他对于原文的理解应该更加全面和透彻。他作为目标文本的作者,除了要具备一般作者的特点以外,还要承担延续原作生命的重任。他作为译者,不仅仅只是原作者的奴隶,还要发挥创作者的创造性,充当原作和目标文本之间沟通的桥梁。任何译者都是文化传播者,承担着跨文化交流的使命。宇文所安和杨国斌在翻译《文心雕龙》历程中典型身份的不同对翻译文本的选择,翻译对策的运用、语言表达、文化传播等方面都产生了不同的影响。古籍翻译一直是翻译讨论的重点。《文心雕龙》作为古籍翻译的典范,其翻译探讨对于国内古籍翻译具有重大的指导和借鉴作用。通过以译者身份的角度对《文心雕龙》的两个比较典型的英译本进行比较,文章对于汉语古籍的翻译的特点进行了浅析,并提出了一些实用的倡议:翻译之前首先要明确目标文本的受众,翻译历程中恰当处理古籍术语的翻译,合理解决古典文论中经常出现的互文文本。关键词:翻译论文文心雕龙论文译者主体性论文译者身份论文古籍翻译论文
