简论隐喻概念隐喻视角下隐喻翻译信

摘要：传统隐喻观将隐喻视作一种修辞手段和诗意想象，认为其主要功能就是代替了另一个语言表达。乔治﹒莱考夫和马克﹒约翰逊在《我们赖从存活的隐喻》一书中提出了以认知的角度探讨隐喻的观点，对传统隐喻观提出了挑战。该书的概念隐喻论述将隐喻视作一种认知活动，认为隐喻的实质即是通过一种事物来理解和体验另一种事物。隐喻翻译在翻译探讨领域早已是一个广泛研究的课题。但传统隐喻翻译探讨大多从修辞为取向，以语言形式和文体层面进行静态的对比，忽视了隐喻的认知性质。概念隐喻论述以隐喻的认知性质出发，打破了传统隐喻翻译探讨的局限，为隐喻翻译探讨提供了新视角。本论文首先对概念隐喻论述进行了简要的简介，并对翻译探讨领域隐喻翻译探讨进行了概述。随后，本论文对The Fall of the House of Usher中的隐喻进行了体系分析。在隐喻翻译探讨部分，本论文通过对小说原文本和六个中译本的比较分析，对小说中隐喻的翻译进行了较为详细、体系的分析探讨。本论文以概念隐喻论述的视角深入探讨隐藏于隐喻表达之下的认知映射，分析其认知工作机制，从诠释和呈现译者如何翻译不同的隐喻表达。基于从上较为详细、体系的分析，本论文最后提炼出了隐喻翻译的四个基本方式。总之，本论文旨在证明概念隐喻论述对隐喻翻译探讨的巨大诠释力从及隐喻翻译探讨的认知视角的合理性，并期望能对具体隐喻翻译对策的提出有一定的启迪。关键词：概念隐喻论述论文认识视角论文The论文Fall论文of论文the论文House论文Usher论文隐喻翻译论文方式论文
