试述嫔妃以学角度看文化负载词翻译

摘要：本论文从诠释学论述为支撑，从乔治·斯坦纳所提的“诠释的运作”为指导，旨在通过应用该论述中的四步翻译法，为宋代后宫嫔妃头衔锁定相对应的英文翻译。宋代后宫嫔妃头衔属于中国文化负载词，具体说，这是一组包含中国传统文化词汇的文化负载词。它们是中国历史进展中所特有的有着。这些头衔名称直接反应了宋代后宫的体系结构，也在某种程度上反映了当时的社会背景和社会价值观。对于文化负载词，我们往往很难在另一文化中找到与其完全对应的词汇或将其进行准确地翻译。乔治·斯坦纳所提的“诠释的运作”这一论述可为我们在翻译中国文化负载词时提供新的思路。从其翻译的四步骤为指导，可从在一定程度上协助译者为源语言找到更加合适、更加准确的译文。当这些文化负载词被准确地转化成另一种语言文字时，无论是对于帮助外国人理解中国文化，还是促使中国人重新认识自己国家的文化都是有益的。诠释学和翻译的重点都在于对文本作用的理解和诠释。由此，诠释学可从作为翻译探讨的论述支撑。诠释学是与文本理解和说明相关的学科，而翻译则是对原文本进行理解与诠释的实践活动。诠释学无论如何进展都不会脱离“作用”这一核心内容，而“作用”正是翻译活动所始终围绕的中心，对作用的理解也始终是翻译活动最重要的步骤之一。本论文的主要内容包括：对文化负载词及传统文化词的阐述，译介传统文化词汇时所面对的困难及相应解决办法，从及应用斯坦纳的诠释运作的翻译四步骤指导宋代后宫嫔妃名称翻译。在依次阐述“信赖，侵入，吸收，补偿”等四个步骤后，作者用英文对宋代嫔妃头衔的翻译进行了诠释。作者发现，诠释运作论述中翻译四步骤的确符合文本诠释行为历程，但是这些步骤并非相互独立的先后联系。相反，它们在更多的时候都是同时发生，同时进行。在翻译时，我们应将它们视作整体，而非呆板地遵循、划分每一个步骤。最后，作者认为，诠释运作论述在一定程度上能够为文化负载词的翻译提供启迪和帮助。关键词：诠释学论述论文文化负载词论文宋代后宫嫔妃名称翻译论文
