摘要：西尔维娅·普拉斯是当代美国“自白派”诗人之一。她的诗歌笔调低沉,情绪阴郁,主要描写了当代西方人的反常心理,尤其热衷于研究心理活动,赞美“死亡是一种艺术”。其诗作还关注现代世界中的女性的种种痛苦体验,体现当今西方社会物质发达而思想空虚这一病态现象。本论文从精神分析批评为视域,尤其借鉴了弗洛伊德、荣格和拉康的相关论述,对普拉斯后期诗歌进行文本细读,着重研究诗歌的死亡意象。在对死亡意象作体系分类和有机组合之后,着重诠释这些意象的美学效应和作用蕴含,认为这些死亡意象从一种特殊的悲伤和平静的语气,传达了诗人渴望迎接死亡、拥抱死亡,并以死亡中获得重生的强烈愿望。而诗人随后身亡,不仅实现了自己的愿望,还使之在其诗作中得从永生。关键词：西尔维娅·普拉斯论文后期诗歌论文死亡意象论文精神分析批评论文
