摘要:翻译涉及语言转换、文化交流、文化冲突、人际联系等多种因素,由此,译者在翻译历程中必须作出正确决策以妥善处理不同国家的语言与文化地位。而学作为哲学的一个分支学科,主要探讨的是人类交流历程中所涉及的道德规范与规则。由此,翻译事实上就是一种活动,并且需要学作为其论述指导。传统翻译论述常以“忠实”“通顺”等标准为视角,对翻译进行探讨探讨。忠实本质上就是一种概念。二十世纪七十年代出现的文化转向使学者开始对忠实性表示质疑。以文化角度来讲,绝对忠实是无法实现的,由此,忠实逐渐边缘化。直至2001年,皮姆的《The Return to Ethics》使人们重新意识到翻译回归的必定性。在翻译中国古典诗歌时,庞德主要秉持创造性翻译和异化翻译思想,但却引起了广大学者的质疑。经本论文作者探讨发现,庞德的这两种翻译思想可以翻译角度得到更好的解释。本论文试图以忠实和存异两方面来探讨翻译在庞德中国古典诗歌英译中的体现。忠实虽然经历了沦陷,但并未被完全抛弃。学者摈弃了以往的绝对忠实,并在更高层次上以不同形式对忠实性进行了探讨。由此本论文将以忠实性为指导来浅析庞德的创造性翻译思想;此外,韦努蒂的存异正是以角度来解释异化翻译,由此本论文拟以存异视角对庞德的异化翻译思想进行深入探讨。通过浅析得出:庞德的创造性翻译和异化翻译思想并未违背翻译原则,是切实可行的。本论文不仅证明了庞德对中国古典诗歌的翻译是可行的,还预期对不同文化间的平等、和谐交流尽绵薄之力。此外,仅有少数学者对翻译进行了探讨,且探讨多集中在论述层面,以翻译角度对庞德中国古典诗歌的英译进行探讨的学者更是少之又少,由此,本论文还在一定程度上丰富了翻译领域的论述探讨,并对诗歌的翻译实践产生了一定的指导作用。关键词:翻译论文庞德论文中国古典诗歌论文忠实论文存异论文
