摘要：美国是世界上拥有私人最多的国家。据2010年的调查数据显示,美国公民拥有的总量大约为3亿。巨大的拥有量也给美国带来许多社会不足,其中不乏一些轰动一时的惨案。为何美国拥有量如此巨大?哪些理由导致美国暴力如此频发?美国政府禁的阻力又有哪些?学者们,尤其是美国的学者们为了找到以上不足的答案已经作了不少探讨,但他们的探讨极少以语言特点作为切入点。《科伦拜恩的保龄》是一部讲述1999年发生在美国的校园击事件的纪录片,获得了许多国际电影大奖,由此这部电影剧本是以语言方面探讨美国文化的最佳文本。本论文以“批评话语浅析”作为论述框架,并以该论述的代表人物费尔克劳夫的“三维浅析方式”为基础,以描述,诠释和解释三个维度对《科伦拜恩的保龄》的剧本进行了浅析。在描述历程中,电影中的话语被看成某个文本,其语言和结构特点是浅析的主要目的。在诠释历程中,电影中的话语被看成是某种社会产物,浅析的侧重点在于话语产生时的社会语境以及它们被听者接收和诠释的历程。最后的解释历程的主要任务是解释前面的诠释结果,包括浅析这种诠释产生的理由和它所体现的权利联系。解释历程同时也是总结出美国文化特点的重要历程。本论文的探讨结论是：1)美国巨大的拥有量主要是其政治环境和政策的产物。2)美国暴力频发的理由有三点：美国人可轻易获得、美国人用自保的习惯和美国人的不安全感。3)美国政府禁的障碍主要来自社会,政治和历史三个方面。美国文化主要有以下三个特点：1)尽管美国宪法赋予美国公民持的权利,但是这种权利在不同的洲有不同限制。2)美国超过半数的犯罪都和有关,一个地区的犯罪死亡率和该地区的数量成正比。3)在美国的政治选举中,政策是影响选举结果的决定因素之一。关键词：美国文化论文暴力论文批评话语浅析论文剧本论文
