【摘 要】 英语阅读是初中英语教学的一个重要组成部分。近年来,中考阅读的题量增大,分值增加,题材和体裁多样,而对于中学生而言,由于受词汇、句型、语法等方面的限制,在阅读理解的学习上存在一定困难。

一、引言
在中考试卷中,阅读理解的比值很大,这对初中英语阅读教学提出了更高的要求。现行的初中英语教材中阅读材料较多,题材广泛,体裁多样。随着教材的不断改善,英语教师要不断更新教学策略,用最适合初中学生的教学策略去培养学生的阅读理解能力。

二、培养良好的阅读习惯,提高学生的阅读效率

在平时的学习中,不少学生不注重阅读习惯的养成,教师也缺少对学生必要的指导,以至不少学生养成了不好的阅读习惯。如:不能默读,都是出声阅读;阅读时总是在内心里自言自语,清晰地发出并听着每个字音;读完一个句子或段落后回过头去重复阅读;阅读时头总是左右摇摆;遇到生词就立即去查字典等等。这些不良习惯直接影响学生的思路,降低阅读速度,阅读效率低下。
一个好的阅读习惯可提高阅读的效率。在阅读训练中,教师要给学生讲明具体的阅读要求。如:⑴默读,默读和朗读相对立,指在心中读、不动唇、不发声音,速度要比出声阅读快,是一种较深刻的阅读策略;⑵遇到生词时,不要马上就去查字典。阅读材料中出现生词是很正常的,要让学生不要害怕、也不要立即就查找工具书。可让学生通过对上下文的理解,合理推测该单词的意思,有些单词则可大胆放过;⑶按意群阅读。很多学生喜欢逐词阅读,花费的时间很长,也影响对句子正确内容的理解。可以按意群将句子中的词按组分开,逐组阅读,就可以提高阅读速度,对内容的理解也更加准确。如:the mother was selling fruit at one the long bar and her daughter was selling drinks at the other end. 这句话中计有22个单词,如果按单词阅读,这一句需要读22次。如果按意群就分为四组,逐组阅读,四次就可完成。The mother was selling fruit/at one end of the long bar/ and her daughter was selling drinks/ at the other end.

It was a quarter past nine. Mr Beet didn't come back. His wife was a little worried. The supper was cold and she waited for two hours and a half. She was sitting by the table in the dark room. 四、树立正确的英语阅读观

阅读观主要指对于阅读过程的认识及态度,它包括阅读兴趣的激发、阅读心理等多方面的因素。许多教师认为阅读前的兴趣激发非常重要,但笔者认为阅读兴趣的激发只是阅读前准备工作的一小部分而已。确实有些文章趣味性较强,较容易使学生带着兴致去阅读,但并非所有的文章都是如此。众所周知,现在的阅读有文本类和非文本类阅读之分,许多非文本类阅读要使学生一下子有兴趣是件不容易的事,故笔者认为当务之急最重要的是树立正确的英语阅读观,它包括阅读前的心理准备、阅读中的心理调控等。为此,教师首先应关注的是学生的心理状态,帮助学生克服阅读的心理障碍,教师经常的鼓励和引导起着关键作用。教师有必要告诉学生阅读是一次作者和读者心灵上的交流沟通,甚至还会有心灵的火花碰撞。其次,在阅读过程中的心理建设尤为重要。教师应该让学生深刻了解阅读过程本身是不能由教师代为完成的,只能由学生自己去体会、领悟和享受。该过程不是教师所能传授的,教师的任何介入只会使此过程变得支离破碎,这时学生的自我心理调控就显得尤为重要。学生可以采用心理暗示法,不断告诉自己“我能行,我一定能看懂”,从而使自己信心大增,耐心地、认认真真地去阅读。也许第一遍阅读下来,学生只理解了40%或更少,但在学生第二遍阅读之后,也许其理解率会提升至70%或更多。只要坚持,一切皆有可能。同时,要求学生务必树立正确的阅读观,相信自己,坚持下去,一定会取得良好的效果。

五、如何保持阅读兴趣

很多学生都想通过课外阅读来提高自己的英语水平,但是能坚持下来的寥寥无几,多数学生都是三分钟热血,很难对英语课外阅读建立起兴趣,因此,激发孩子的阅读兴趣,才能保证孩子持之以恒地进行课外阅读。激发同学课外阅读的兴趣要掌握策略,在日常学习中,老师可以与同学交流自己在课外阅读中得到的体会,给学生树立榜样,引发学生对阅读的憧憬,以此来激发他们的阅读兴趣。作为青少年,每一个孩子都有强烈的好奇心,教师可以利用孩子的好奇心,给他们介绍比较好的课外读物,也可以在讲述课堂知识的同时拓展一些课外知识,让孩子们产生好奇心理,激发他们的阅读。
