试议口译记者招待会汉英口译中文化负载词翻译对策符号学

摘要：革新开放以来，中国与世界各国的交往日趋频繁。作为跨文化交际的重要手段以及我国与世界各国进行信息交流的重要平台，口译发挥着日益重要的作用。而在记者招待会口译中，经常出现的文化负载词如含有丰富文化信息的俗语、习语、谚语和诗句往往会令译员感到棘手，并增加其翻译的负担。由此，作者选择记者招待会汉译英口译中的文化负载词的翻译对策作为探讨课题。本论文以符号学作为论述基础，采取陈宏薇提出的“作用相符、功能相似”翻译标准作为文化负载词口译的指导原则。通过符号学角度的浅析，作者对口译历程中所涉及的信息以语言、副语言和语言外三个层次做了多维度的细分。虽然口译中信息主要来源于语言符号，但副语言信息如强调、停顿及肢体语言和语言外信息如主题信息都传递着信息且影响译者的理解和表达。作者以三种符号作用：言内作用、指称作用和语用作用出发来浅析文化负载词在口译中如何实现作用的传递和原有功能的近似实现，并在此基础上提出了六种口译对策。通过探讨作者发现：首先，口译作为符号诠释历程，不仅涉及语言符号而且包含影响和塑造语言符号的副语言符号和语言外符号。其次，社会符号学翻译标准“作用相符、功能相似”虽然对口译也同样适用，但其包含的信息作用更广泛，更复杂。最后，论文中提出的六种口译对策对译员来说有一定的指导作用。关键词：记者招待会口译论文文化负载词论文符号学作用论文口译对策论文
